My Approach

As a Humanistic Integrative Counsellor, I  specialise in various treatments such as Depression, Anxiety, Trauma and bereavement, having qualified with a BA (Hons) Humanistic & Integrative through Middlesex University, and a FdA Integrative through Plymouth University.

I can describe myself as a warm person with deep empathy, who has a hands on experience of working with diverse client issues, and so I am open to work with individuals from all walks of life,  to help them find their own path, and experience growth in areas where they feel stuck. I allow my clients autonomy by letting them to sit in the driver's seat as they navigate through their healing journey.

For clients who find it difficult to express themselves verbally, I can also work creatively using different mediums such as Sand tray, photography, memory jars and creative writing to help them find a map to their journey,  the training I received through working at Longfield Hospice and also as part of my University training.

I am a Registered Member (MBACP) of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy, and regularly supervised.

Areas of expertise include:

Grief, loss and Bereavement, depression and anxiety, trauma, stress, confidence issues, low self esteem and lack of motivation, intimate partner abuse, childhood Issues.
